When I started Campfire Engraving, I never imagined that one day I’d be writing a post sharing how incredibly honored I am to share that I was voted First Place in the “Maker” category of Chronogram’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards.

This recognition means so much because it wasn’t decided by a panel of judges—it came from the people who have supported my work, trusted me with their ideas, and believed in what I create. Every vote represented someone who took a moment to support my small business, and for that, I am truly grateful.

Campfire Engraving has always been about more than engraving. For me, it’s about creating pieces that tell a story. Whether it’s a custom gift celebrating a milestone, a business looking to elevate its brand, or a keepsake that will be treasured for years to come, I approach every project with the same goal: to create something meaningful that people are proud to own.

What began as a creative passion has grown into a business that allows me to work with incredible clients throughout the Hudson Valley and across the country. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of creating everything from personalized gifts and custom signage to awards, branded products, and one-of-a-kind engraved pieces. Every project challenges me to think creatively and continually refine my craft.

Being recognized as Chronogram’s top Maker is both humbling and motivating. As a woman-owned small business owner, I wear many hats every day—from designer and maker to customer service, production, marketing, and shipping. While the work can be demanding, it’s also deeply rewarding because I know every piece that leaves my shop was made with intention and care.

This award belongs just as much to the people who have supported Campfire Engraving over the years as it does to me. Thank you to every customer who placed an order, referred a friend, shared my work on social media, stopped by an event, or cast a vote. Your encouragement has helped turn a dream into something I get to do every single day.

Winning First Place is an incredible milestone, but it’s also a reminder of why I started. I love creating. I love solving design challenges. And I love helping people celebrate life’s moments through personalized, handcrafted engraving.
