Campfire Engraving is Raising Funds for Horses for a Change

A note from Deirdre White, owner of Campfire Engraving,

My daughter Harper recently began therapeutic riding lessons at Horses for a Change, and it has quickly become one of the highlights of her week. Her excitement, determination, and growing confidence around horses have been incredible to see.

These lessons provide much more than time in the saddle—they offer encouragement, personal growth, and meaningful connections that help children thrive.

We’re raising money to support Horses for a Change because programs like this depend on donations. Funding helps provide scholarships and support for youth riders while also covering the ongoing costs of caring for the horses, maintaining the farm, and ensuring the program can continue to grow.

In addition to financial contributions, donations are an important part of sustaining the program and expanding opportunities for future riders. Every donation, no matter the size, helps keep these life-changing experiences available to children like Harper and so many others who benefit from the special bond between horses and riders.

Thank you for helping Horses for a Change continue its mission of hope, healing, and growth!

Proceeds from this fundraiser will help fund youth rider scholarships and support the ongoing care of the horses that make these life-changing experiences possible.

“A horse’s soothing rhythm, strength, and warmth improve your circulation and muscle tone. Meanwhile, the discipline you get from caring for your mount benefits your mind and spirit, and helps nurture your ability to take on responsibility and feel confident in yourself.”
